Digital gift card for your business
A gift card or a prepaid package with a balance on your customer's phone. It starts with an amount, and each purchase brings it down to zero. Free for up to 100 active customers.
How it works
- When you design it, you choose the balance amount, for example €50.
- You hand it over with a QR code, like any other card. Your customer scans it and the card appears on their phone.
- If it's a present, whoever receives it scans the QR code or gives their record's reference at your shop.
- At each purchase you scan their barcode, type the amount and tap −. The balance goes down.
- If the purchase is more than the balance, the app tells you how much is left to charge separately.
- When the balance reaches zero, the card ends and doesn't renew.
- If you like, you can give it an expiry date.
You take the payment at your till
You sell it at your till, like any other sale. The app keeps track of the balance.
How it's created
- In Design, tap + and choose Spend card.
- Choose Count down from a balance and type the amount.
- Choose the background and colours, write the title and save.
- In Create, swipe to the gift card and tap Show QR.
Questions
Can I have gift cards for different amounts?
Yes. You create one design for each amount, for example one for €20 and another for €50.
What if the customer doesn't have the app?
Type their reference before tapping Show QR. The card stays in their record and you take off each purchase by looking them up by their reference.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It's in the free plan, for up to 100 active customers.
